Kaweah Delta Hosts Free Seminar On Vascular And Vein Disease On Feb. 21 In Visalia
VISALIA, CA – Heart month is also a good time to think about how
the arteries that move blood away from your heart and the veins that return
blood, are working. On Tuesday, Feb. 21, a free Wellness & You seminar
will focus on what you need to know about vascular and vein disease. No
registration is needed to attend.
The event will take place from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Sequoia Regional Cancer
Center, 4945 W. Cypress Ave., Visalia. The event’s speakers will
be South Valley Vascular’s Matthew Campbell, M.D., a certified vascular
surgeon, and Joshua Day, a physician assistant.
Vascular disease involves the arteries and veins of a person’s circulatory
system and can cause a range of health problems ranging from severe to
fatal. Vein disease includes everything from small unsightly spider veins
to large painful varicose veins. These can lead to inflammation, blood
clots, bleeding and ankle ulcers
