Kaweah Delta
Hospital Serving Tulare County in California
Kaweah Delta Health Care District is the largest hospital in Tulare County
and the only hospital in Visalia. We have a heavy responsibility to provide
the people of our community with efficient, quality healthcare in their
local area. We are the only hospital in two counties offering comprehensive
cardiac care, open heart surgery, minimally invasive operations, and more.
We are an officially certified Level III trauma hospital, and the only
trauma center between Fresno and Bakersfield. This means our facility
is staffed 24/7 with surgeons and anesthesiologists ready to perform emergency
procedures. Our team is capable of providing treatment for adults and
children, and our pediatric program is well-respected throughout the state.

In His Own Words
“We got our life back,” said Georg. “It was just a miracle
how everything worked out.”
Georg never thought moving a "little rock" would change his life
in such big ways. Suddenly, the 53-year-old had back pain so bad he could
barely walk. But thanks to the healing work of Neurosurgeon Dr. Charles
Liu, Georg got his life back and is back to doing the things he loves.

Our Emergency Department Registration & Waiting Area has Moved
As of Thursday, March 14, we have closed the previous Emergency Department

This area has expanded seating and an intake area where we will register
patients and take vitals for the next four to five months as we proceed
with construction. For more information, visit
