Thank You for Visiting Patients of Kaweah Delta
Visiting a hospital patient is comforting for both the patient and their
loved ones. We understand that many people wish to stay at the hospital
as long as possible to show their support, and to make this easier on
them we provide several services and
accommodations that make their visit more convenient.
Café-Ambrosia - This is a convenient cafe inside the hospital serving Starbucks coffee.
There are also light dining options like sandwiches, soups, and salads.
Hours are Monday thru Friday 6: a.m. to 7 p.m.
Cafeteria - The cafeteria provides a variety of nutritious dining options, including
pre-packaged salads and sandwiches that are freshly made every day in-house.
Breakfast is severed from 6:30 to 10 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.,
and dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
- Here guests can buy stuffed animals, fresh flowers, jewelry, and other
small gifts for patients. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday thru Friday,
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday thru Sunday.
- There are two parking structures located just across from the hospital.
One is on Locust Street while the other is on Acequia Avenue. There is
also parking available in front of the Mineral King Entrance and on Mineral
King Avenue. Kaweah Delta offers valet parking between the hours of 9:00
a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Mineral King entrance only. View our

Wi-Fi - guests have access to free Wi-fi. Keep connected to the outside world
or your work while waiting for a loved one staying at the hospital.
While visiting, we also ask that visitors adhere to a few
guidelines for the safety of our patients. Each of these regulations is important
to ensure our patients remain comfortable and safe. Visitors that do not
cooperate with these measures may be asked to leave.
Please adhere to the following rules while visiting Kaweah Delta:
Visiting hours - General visiting hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. To prevent loud noises and
accidents, we ask that children under 12 years old do not visit. Please
call (559) 624-5591 to request an exception to this rule. When visiting
NICU, Labor & Delivery, Maternity, and Pediatric departments, guests
will be given a wristband recognizing them as an authorized visitor.
Cellphones and cameras- Cell phones are allowed in the hospital, but certain models may interfere
with medical equipment and owners will be asked to turn them off. No video
or photography is allowed on Kaweah Delta premises.
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere on Kaweah Delta campus, inside or outside.
