Personal Belongings
Patients and visitors are responsible for all personal belongings. Kaweah
Delta is not responsible for replacing lost, misplaced or damaged items.
Please leave any items you would not want to lose at home or send them
home with a family member or friend. This includes jewelry, money, phones
and other personal items. Any items you decide to bring into the hospital
is your responsibility.

Dentures: Request a labeled denture cup to store them in when they are not in use.
Do not place dentures on your meal tray or anywhere else they may be lost
or accidentally thrown out.

Hearing aids and glasses: Keep them in a labeled case when not in use. Request from staff a labeled
container if you do not have one. Do not leave these items anywhere except
in their containers.

Wheelchairs, Walkers, Canes: Request a label with your name to be placed on these items.

Valuables: We advise valuables to be sent home, but you may also send valuables to
our safe. Items you retain at the bedside are your responsibility.

Clothing: Hospital gowns are provided, but you may retain clean clothing at your
bedside. Clothing you retain are your responsibility.
Lost Belongings

Lost Items: While Kaweah Delta is not responsible for personal belongings, we try
to return lost items to their owners. To report a lost item, please contact
the Lost and Found Line at (559) 624-2044. Only if your item is found
will we call you back.
