Physical Therapy Services
The Physical Therapy services offered by Therapy Specialists-a division
of Kaweah Delta-revolve around one thing - our patients. They're the
heart of everything we do. We see patients who've experienced everything
from arthritis to automobile accidents and we're committed to working
around the clock to craft unique and individualized physical therapy plans
for them. Additionally, we ask our patients to join us every step of the
way as we help them successfully complete their physical therapy journey.

Areas of Specialization
Our therapy services cater to variety of unique needs. Our staff works
with patients to plan our personal goals and create a suitable, customized
treatment plan.

Outpatient Therapy - Many of our therapy programs can be done on an outpatient basis, meaning
you do not have to be admitted to the hospital to participate.

Physical Therapy - Our physical therapy program focuses on improving the physical health
of our patients after an injury, surgery or as a treatment for chronic
disease. Occupational therapy and speech therapy are also offered through
physical therapy.

Sports Therapy
(Orthopedic Therapist/Rehabilitation) - Our orthopedic therapists work with athletes and non-athletes alike to
help rehabilitate muscle and joint problems, provide post-surgical physical
therapy, offer joint replacement rehabilitation and neck and back treatments.

Orthopedic Therapy - Recover from surgery or musculoskeletal conditions faster by working
with orthopedic physical therapists. This treatment is extremely useful
if you have recently had a joint replacement, or installed a prosthetic.
It can also be used as an alternative to joint replacement surgery in
some cases.

Hand Therapy - Whether you've suffered a stroke, surgery, carpal tunnel, or are
recovering from an injury to your hand, our physical and occupational
therapists will develop a rehabilitation plan to regain your strength
and use of your hand(s).

Balancing Help - Balance is affected through a number of ways, either due to injury or
a chronic disease. Our physical therapists will work with you to regain
your balance through appropriate exercises and strength training.

Parkinson's Disease - Here patients learn how to manage and cope with the symptoms of Parkinson's
disease. Therapists help with balance problems, mobility, and stiffness.

Pelvic Health Program - This is a whole body program for men and women to treat various conditions
that affect the prostate, including urinary incontinence, C-section recovery,
constipation, and more.

Personal Training - Our rehabilitation department offers personal training for those who
need help losing weight, need specialized attention regaining strength
after an injury or need a specialized diet plan.

Integrated Fitness - This program offers Pilates and personal training, which are effective
and healthy way to keep and gain strength and flexibility.

Concussion Management Program - Safely assist students, athletes, and adults with Return to Play, Return
to Learn, and Return to Work by addressing both the neurological and functional
deficits that we see post- concussion.
