Welcome to the Department of Pharmacy
Kaweah Delta Health Care District is a 581 bed not-for-profit community
based teaching facility anchored by its 452 bed, level III trauma center.
The District consists of four campuses, including the largest acute care
hospital in Tulare County, Kaweah Delta Medical Center. Kaweah Delta plays
a significant role in the health and well being of California's great
Central Valley. For more than 50 years, we have provided a wide array
of state-of-the-art and nationally recognized services.
KDHCD provides a full spectrum of health care services utilizing an array
of cutting-edge medical technology - from cardiac services, cancer care,
sleep disorders, vascular labs, specialized orthopedics, comprehensive
rehabilitation and mental health services. Kaweah Delta Medical Center
is home to da Vinci Si robotic surgery, a new endo-urology suite, a state
of the art endovascular operating room, and 64 CT radiological technology.
The main medical center is a wireless environment offering healthcare
providers Electronic Medical Records, ELMER electronic notes, Citrix interface
from home or office and integration with iPad and other tablet technology.

The Department of Pharmacy provides both distributive and clinical pharmacy
services to acute care patients at Kaweah Delta Medical Center including
South and West campuses. Outpatient pharmacy services include a Home Infusion
and Employee Pharmacy and rapidly growing ambulatory care services in
Transitions of Care, Chronic Disease State Management and Family Medicine.
The Department of Pharmacy is comprised of over 90 full time employees.
