Registration Open For 5k Harvest Run / Walk Set For Oct. 1 In Visalia
VISALIA – Registration is now open for the 5K Harvest Run/3KWalk
and 1/2 mile kids run in Visalia on Saturday, Oct. 1, in Visalia presented
by Kaweah Delta Health Care District and Visalia Runners.
The 5K run and 3K walk will take place at 8 a.m. at The Lifestyle Center,
5105 W. Cypress Ave., while the ½ mile kids run will begin at 7:45
a.m. Both will benefit patients of Sequoia Regional Cancer Center who
are in need during the holidays. All finishers will receive a free medal
and race/chip results by e-mail. Shirts will be given to the first 300
people to register for the 5K run or 3K walk. This run is part of the
Valley Running Series and worth 10 points.
Run/walk cost is $25 before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28 online at
runsignup.com; $35 day of the event only from 6:30-7:45 a.m. Registration is also available
in person through 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30 at The Lifestyle Center,
5105 W. Cypress Ave. You may also register by mail through Monday, Sept.
26, to: Visalia Runners, 5437 W. Perez Ave., Visalia, CA 93291 (make checks
payable to Visalia Runners). Packet pick-up is Friday, Sept. 30, from
3-7 p.m. at The Lifestyle Center.
