Thinking About Applying?
Welcome to Kaweah Delta Health Care District! As you begin your final year
of medical school, we hope that you will take this opportunity to consider
Kaweah Delta Health Care District's (KDHCD) fourth year elective program.
We invite students who are in good academic standing at accredited medical
schools to participate in this exciting program.
Please see the following information and requirements of our Visiting Learner Program:
Applying: Kaweah Delta Health Care District utilizes both an Electronic Clerkship
Application and VSLO (Visiting Student Learning Opportunties) to receive
visiting student applications. All students (except those currently in
their 3rd year and any International medical students) attending an LCME
accredited U.S. Allopathic or Osteopathic medical school, will submit
applications through VSLO. If your school does not use VSLO please use
the clerkship
Appilcation Form and submit to the Medical Student Program Coordinator

Affiliation Agreements: Kaweah Delta Health Care District has adopted the AAMC standard affiliation
agreement. An approved affiliation agreement must be on file with Kaweah
Delta and the student's medical school. Agreements are good for 5
years. Details will be provided by the Medical Student Program Coordinator
upon acceptance.
VSLO Visiting Medical Schools: To search Kaweah Delta’s electives on VSLO, first select UC-Irvine
and then select "Kaweah Delta Medical Center" as the campus.
