Dr. Diana Herva is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of California.
She is the Director of Behavioral Medicine Education for the Kaweah Delta
Family Medicine and Psychiatry residency programs. Additionally, she is
the Chair of the Clinical Competency Committee for the Family Medicine
residency program and serves on the Kaweah Delta Institutional Review
Board. Dr. Herva’s experience includes serving as an expert witness
in court and subject matter expert for the California Board of Psychology.
She has taught on forensic psychology, cultural competency, and behavioral
management. She has participated in community outreach projects among
Hmong and Spanish-speaking communities. She is a native Hmong speaker
and is connected to the local Hmong community. She regularly participates
in local events promoting educational and professional success in high
school students. Dr. Herva was co-recipient of the 2012 Faculty of the
Year Award for the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Herva has also been recognized
by the California State Assembly and State of California Senate for outstanding
service to the developmentally disabled community.
