Acute Dialysis

Acute Dialysis is a small group of specialized nurses who provide acute hemodialysis treatments to patients in a medical surgical or critical care setting.

The most rewarding part of working in Acute Dialysis is the direct patient care. Acute dialysis nurses can only preform dialysis on one or two patients at a time. The nurses can really make a meaningful connection with the patient during the one on one time. Acute dialysis nurses are very committed to their colleagues. Since they are a small specialized group they rely on each other for help.
