Kaweah Delta collects winter clothing for Project Homeless Connect

Through Friday, Dec. 13, Kaweah Delta Community Outreach is collecting new or slightly used clothing items as part of Project Homeless Connect.  

Items needed include: winter coats, blankets, sleeping bags, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and socks. Items can be dropped in donation boxes at the following locations:
Kaweah Delta Support Services Building, 520 W. Mineral King Ave.
The Lifestyle Center?, 5105 W. Cypress Ave., Visalia
Kaweah Delta Woodlake Health Clinic, 180 E. Antelope Ave., Woodlake
Kaweah Kids Center, 507 West Willow Ave., Visalia
Sequoia Prompt Care?, 1110 S Ben Maddox Way, Suite B, Visalia.   

Kaweah Delta Community Outreach coordinates the Bridge Project which offers the local homeless population the support and services needed to help them out of their current situations. The winter drive can help keep hundreds on the street warm this winter.   Numerous corporations, nonprofits, and government agencies come together to provide Project Homeless Connect and its clients with services such as dental care, eyeglasses, family support, food, HIV testing, housing, hygiene products, medical care, mental health services and more.
