Overall Results Through 2015

Overall patient satisfaction is measured through written surveys collected by Press Ganey. Our results to date show that:
 

  • Overall satisfaction has averaged 91% placing the program in the top 30% compared to other rehabilitation facilities in the nation. 97% of patients would recommend the program to others, and 75% gave the program the highest scores possible on the satisfaction survey. 
  • 83% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 77%.
  • Our average length of stay of 12 days was lower than the national average.
  • Patient mobility at discharge was comparable to the national average. The program has served 620 patients in the past year.

 

Stroke

  • 85% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 73%. 
  • Our average length of stay of 15 days was lower than the national average of 16 days. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was comparable to the national average. 
  • The program has served 168 stroke patients in the past year.

Orthopedic

  • 83% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 81%. 
  • Our average length of stay of 11 days was lower than the national average of 12 days. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was comparable to the national average. 
  • The program has served 128 orthopedic patients in the past year.

Cardiac

  • 85% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 81%. 
  • Our average length of stay of 10 days was less than the national average of 11 days. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was comparable to the national average. 
  • The program has served 97 cardiac patients in the past year.

Amputee

  • 84% of patients returned to the community, better than the national average of 76%. 
  • Our average length of stay of 12 days was lower than the national average of 13 days. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was slightly below the national average.  
  • The program has served 44 amputee patients in the past year.

Spinal Cord

  • 76% of patients returned to the community, equal to the national average. 
  • Our average length of stay of 11 days was the same as the national average of 17 days. 
  • Patient mobility at discharge was comparable to the national average. 
  • The program has served 80 spinal cord patients in the past year.
