Comprehensive medical rehabilitation services are offered throughout Kaweah Delta Health Care District, in acute care and outpatient settings.
Kaweah Delta Rehabilitation Hospital, the west campus of Kaweah Delta Health Care District, has a team of dedicated people working as a unit to assist patients in reaching toward the future.
Kaweah Delta Rehabilitation Hospital is specifically designed to provide progressive, personalized care as part of a complete continuum of rehabilitation. This 61-bed facility houses the latest in rehabilitation equipment and technology to help victims of stroke, accidents, brain injury and other disabling conditions recover and become as self-sufficient as possible. We offer rehab skilled nursing and transitional care services for patients shifting to a full rehabilitation schedule or preparing to go home. The District's rehabilitative team consists of physicians, rehabilitation nurses, speech therapists, a neuro-psychologist, occupational therapists, social workers and physical therapists.
The patients receive individual attention from experienced professionals so they can gain as much independence as possible. At the rehab center, there are 29 beds dedicated to inpatient rehabilitation patients, who see physical, occupational, speech or recreation therapists. In addition, social workers, nurses and psychologists are on hand to aide the patients in their progress. The Center has a full-time medical physiatrist on staff. Kaweah Delta Rehabilitation Hospital is accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, and is the only rehab center in Tulare and Kings counties to be accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
