Joelean Lambrecht, the owner of Stroller Strides, a fitness program for moms and dads and fun for baby, organized a fundraiser to give back to the Paradise House. The Paradise House is a new mother's resource for assistance in caring for her new baby. Services include a complete line of preemie and lactation products, breast pumps, lactation consultants, breastfeeding support group, after birth support group, and new mom's group. Thumbs up to Jonna Schengel and Lisa Klein of Integrated Fitness (formerly Pilates Plus) for hosting "Mega Mom's Night Out". The evening included a yoga & pilates class, chair massage, silent auction and light refreshments. Approximately $1,540.00 was raised to support the new moms programs at the Paradise House. The Paradise House has been open for 6 years and has had 63,000 contacts between visits to the Nursery Nook Store, lactation visits, baby weight checks, lactation counselor phone calls, mom and baby support groups.
