Kaweah Delta North Expansion Project is underway!



Kaweah Delta is on the grow! The long-awaited North Expansion Project broke ground in January. The addition of the six-story patient tower will improve Kaweah Delta’s capacity in three key acute care services – cardiac, emergency and maternity care – and will increase total bed capacity initially by 87 beds to prepare the hospital for the future growth of the community.

The North Expansion Project is slated for completion in 2008.

Construction Update
Floral and Willow Streets have been closed in the construction area. Crews are now working to relocate the ambulance bay to the front of the hospital and underground sewer lines are going in.

Some parking areas have been impacted by the North Expansion Project. Please see the parking diagram.

The City of Visalia has also started construction on a parking garage that will be located just across Acequia Street from the hospital’s expansion project.
