Debra Kotler, PhD, MAOB


Dr. Kotler has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Behavioral Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Behavior from the California School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Kotler has been a licensed psychologist for over 20 years and held many administrative roles. She has worked in private practice, taught at California State University, as well as private colleges and community college settings. She has lectured internationally, was nominated as one of ”Fresno’s Top Ten Businesswomen” and “Psychologist of the Year” for her work with making mental health services more available to minority groups. More recently, she served as the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services at UC, Merced and as a Senior Psychologist in Forensic Mental Health. She has served on the Board of Directors for the California Psychological Association as well as an Oral Commissioner for the Psychologist Licensing Exam. She has extensive supervisory experience and has a passion in developing innovative programs. Currently, she is pursuing her nursing degree (RN) as part of her professional development. Her hobbies include international travel, volunteering for hospice, gardening, and raising airedales
