• Initially 83 new beds, 135-new beds total upon completion

Maternity Services: • 43 New private beds
Emergency Department: • Six trauma bays will be added, an additional six beds pre-planned
Cost: • $143.2 million spent on the project, with $18 million going toward the latest technology
Funding: • From a variety of places including the passing of Measure M, and the Kaweah Delta Hospital Foundation
Kaweah Delta Health Care District provides a full spectrum of health care services utilizing an array of cutting-edge medical technology. The District consists of four campuses, including the largest acute care hospital in Tulare County, Kaweah Delta Hospital. Kaweah Delta Health Care District also operates Kaweah Delta Rehabilitation Hospital, Kaweah Delta Mental Health Hospital, The Lifestyle Center, Sequoia Imaging Center and San Juan Health Center. In addition, Kaweah Delta maintains partnerships with Sequoia Regional Cancer Center, Cypress Surgery Center and Quail Park Retirement Village.
Kaweah Delta attracts patients from a broad area of the Central Valley because of the array of services-- from cardiac services, cancer care, sleep disorders and vascular labs, specialized orthopedics, comprehensive rehabilitation, and mental health services. Patients who at one time would have had to travel out of the area are now able to stay close to home, near friends and family, to receive high-quality care in many specialized areas. These services are conveniently available to our patients at several locations throughout the community.
