VISALIA – Kaweah Delta Hospice will host its annual Light Up
A Life event on Tuesday, Dec. 3, to provide Tulare County residents a chance to
honor loved ones who have recently passed.
The event, which will take place at 7 p.m. at the Visalia
Convention Center (303 E. Acequia Ave.), gives family and friends a chance to
honor loved ones by placing a special ornament bearing their loved one’s name
on the traditional Christmas hospice tree. The ceremony includes music, prayer
and encouragement. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the tree is lit to honor
each loved one being remembered. Ornaments can be purchased for a $25 donation
to Kaweah Delta Hospice and are returned to families after the holiday season.
To register, call 733-0642.
