What is Lymphedema? It's an abnormal accumulation of protein rich fluid that often makes a person's arms, legs, neck or trunk swell. It can happen at birth or early in life even when a person has suffered no injury. It occurs most frequently as a result of cancer treatment, especially if lymph nodes have been removed or a person's had radiation treatment.

Kaweah Delta provides a comprehensive, individualized lymphedema treatment program at Kaweah Delta's Neuro Outpatient Clinic. This program is offered in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
