Why am I getting multiple bills from one hospital visit?

Depending on the type of care you received, you may have separate hospital accounts with different account numbers. Some examples of hospital services, which may be billed separately are; inpatient stays, outpatient labs, and emergency room visits. You may also receive separate bills from physicians and other providers involved in your care. Physicians are not employed by the hospital and professional fees may be charged to you separately. These may include services provided by California Emergency Physicians, Mineral King Radiology, and your personal physician.
